Dusty Dvoracek

One of the newest members to the SportsTalk 1400 family is Dusty Dvoracek,  co-host of “The Rush” with Teddy Lehman.  Dusty is from Lake Dallas, TX and played defensive tackle for the Oklahoma Sooners.

In high school at Lake Dallas he set the state record for power lifting in the 275 lb. weight class, he was also the state shot put champion.  He was the 01-02 Jay Myers award recipient given to the most outstanding freshman for academics and athletics.

Dusty was also a two time 1st team All Big 12 selection by the AP and Coaches, and a two time captain at OU.  He went on to be drafted by the Chicago Bears in the 3rd round of the 2006 NFL Draft and played until 2009 with the Bears.  He was a member of the 2006 NFC Championship team.  He finished his playing career with the Omaha Nighthawks.

Dvoracek now co-host “The Rush” with former Sooner teammate and close friend Teddy Lehman.  Their show is a huge hit in the Oklahoma City market, and they have brought on some great guests in their brief time as radio hosts.
