Co-Host of “The Rush” from 2-6 pm on SportsTalk 1400’s newest show that features Teddy Lehman and Dusty Dvoracek. Teddy Lehman originally hails from a town in eastern Oklahoma, Ft. Gibson. Teddy was a star athlete in Ft. Gibson that lead his team to the state title game his senior year of High School, and posted the best record in Ft. Gibson High School history at 13-1. He led the state in rushing yards and touchdowns his senior year. He then took his talents to Norman, and became the first member to verbally pledge to the Sooners for his signing class. Lehman was a key member of OU’s 2000 National Championship teamLehman while at OU went on to be named a two time All-American (2002 & 2003) including winning the Butkus Award that goes to the nations top linebacker, and the Chuck Bednarik award as the nations top defensive player.
Lehman was drafted by the Detroit Lions in the 2nd round pick, 37th overall. He was the only rookie linebacker to start all 16 games, and finished 2nd on the team with 102 tackles. Teddy has had stints with the Lions, Buccaneers Bills, and Jaguars.
Teddy Lehman now is retired from professional football and lives in Norman. He is married to Erin Lehman. He is the co-host of “The Rush” 2-6 pm Monday-Friday on SportsTalk 1400.
