Buddy Hield named All-Rookie First Team, Thunder players fall short

NEW YORK — Former Oklahoma star Buddy Hield has been named to the NBA’s All-Rookie First team, the league announced Monday.

Hield averaged 10.6 points, 3.3 rebounds and 1.5 assists during his first NBA season, revving up his game even more after the New Orleans Pelicans, who drafted him No. 6 in the 2016 NBA Draft, traded him to the Sacramento Kings midseason.
