In 2017, Oklahoma State beat the Jaguars 44-7 in Week 2. Mason Rudolph threw for 335 yards and three touchdowns that day. James Washington had only two catches, but he had 98 receiving yards and a touchdown. His catches were 66 yards (TD) and 32 yards. Marcell Ateman caught the other two touchdown passes. Rudolph also ran for a score.
Justin Phillips had a 25-yard interception return for a score, while Matt Ammendola went 3-for-4 on the day in field goals, hitting from 31 yards, 53 yards and 48 yards.
The Cowboys hosted the Jaguars the next season with Taylor Cornelius running the show. OSU won 55-13.
Cornelius threw for 428 yards and a touchdown, and Keondre Wudtee also got in on the action, throwing a 25-yard score. Tylan Wallace and Tyron Johnson each eclipsed 100 receiving yards, with Wallace going for 166 and a touchdown while Johnson had 137 on only five catches.
Justice Hill ran for a pair of scores while Chuba Hubbard and Johnson were also credited with rushing touchdowns.
