UPDATE 5:01 p.m.: OU confirmed baseball coach Pete Hughes’ resignation.
Hughes coached the Sooner for the past four seasons, going 128-107-1.
“We appreciate the dedicated service Pete gave to our baseball program,” OU athletic director Castiglione said through a release. “He and his family are good people and we certainly wish the best for them.”
OU will begin searching for a replacement immediately,
