Only five school board members in Oklahoma are selected every year for the Oklahoma State School Boards Association’s All-State School Board.
This year, Norman Public Schools Board of Education President Cindy Nashert was one of the honorees.
“I know I was nominated by my peers, my fellow board members. It made me so appreciative of our relationship,” Nashert said.
