Polls: Oklahoma State Comes in at No. 15 in AP Poll after Bedlam Win

The Cowboys have climbed from South Alabama loss to a Top 15 team.

Oklahoma State came in at No. 15 in the updated AP Poll that released on Sunday. The Pokes were 17th in the Coaches Poll. The College Football Playoff poll will update on Tuesday.

Let’s get this out of the way — it is weird that OU is ranked ahead of OSU in the Coaches Poll hours removed from OSU beating OU.

There are four Big 12 teams in each poll with No. 7/7 Texas leading the way. The Cowboys — tied with Texas atop the Big 12 standings — are next at No. 15/17 before the No. 17/16 Sooners and No. 19/18 Kansas. Kansas State and West Virginia are receiving votes in both polls.

Future Big 12 member Utah remained ranked after throttling future Big 12 member Arizona State 55-3. And Arizona, another future Big 12 member, climbed into the rankings after beating UCLA.
